GainAMP 2 click
GainAMP 2 click

GainAMP 2 click is a 6-channel programmable gain amplifier, used to amplify signals on any of the 6 non-inverting input channels up to 32x, in eight discrete steps. The gain can be set via the SPI communication interface. The click has a high signal to noise ratio, a good bandwidth, and very low gain error. These features make it an ideal solution for amplifying sensitive low signals from various sources.

Due to its low noise compared to most of the ADCs, it can be used to adjust the dynamic range of the ADC input signal. The GainAMP 2 can also be used to expand the analog input capacity of the MCU with the additional gain control for each source. This click can be easily daisy-chained if more than six inputs are needed - or to achieve other gain ratios, not possible with a single device.

Hz to V 2 click
Hz to V 2 click
HZ to V 2 click is a device that can convert input frequency of the signal with virtually any wave shape to a DC voltage output, with a level proportional to the input frequency. It features a specialized IC labeled as VFC32KU, which has a good linear response and temperature stability. By applying a signal with the frequency up to 120kHz on its input, the Click board™ will generate a DC voltage up to 3.3V. The IC is supplied by a dual-voltage boost DC/DC converter IC, which provides the power supply of ±15V, required for the VFC32KU IC operation.

IR Beacon click
IR Beacon click IR Beacon click is a mikroBUS add-on board with an array of nine high speed infrared emitting diodes. It functions as a beacon device, transmitting infrared rays in a wide angle, which can be detected by nearby infrared receivers (such as the one on IR click). Each of the nine VSMB2948SL diodes have a transparent plastic package that serve as tiny lenses. The IR wave has a half intensity angle of ± 25 degrees. The diodes have high radiant power and intensity with a peak wavelengths of 940nm. IR Beacon click is suitable for high pulse current operation. The mainboard MCU drives the infrared diodes through the mikroBUS MOD pin, providing a carrier signal (which can be modified to match the frequency of the receiver). Either UART or PWM can be used to transmit a signal to a target receiver (specified by the position of the TX SEL jumper is in the middle of the board). The range is up to half a meter. You can increase it by stacking multiple IR Beacon clicks onto a same mikroBUS socket. The board can use either a 3.3V or a 5V power supply.

IrThermo2 click
IrThermo2 click IrThermo 2 click is a non-contact temperature measurement solution. The click board carries the TMP007 infrared thermopile sensor with an integrated math engine. The sensor absorbs the infrared radiation emitted by the target object (within the sensor's field of view) and the integrated math engine calculates its temperature by comparing it with the temperature of the silicon die. The measurement range of the sensor is between -40°C to 125°C (with a 14-bit resolution). The board is designed to use either a 3.3V or a 5V power supply.

Load cell click
Load cell click

Load cell click is a weight measurement click which utilizes a load cell element, in order to precisely measure the weight of an object. The Load Cell click can be used with the strain gauge type of load cells and can measure up to ±20V or ±40V of differential voltage. The strain gauge load cell is typically a circuit made of four strain gauges, connected in the Wheatstone bridge configuration. Very small voltage changes need to be accurately detected and converted into a digital form. Load Cell click uses the HX711, a specialized 24bit analog to digital converter (ADC), designed for weight scale applications, made by Avia Semiconductor.
