The IQS621 IC from ProxFusion® sensor series offers several ProxSense® engine capabilities, with additional sensor types. Thanks to its high level of integration, this sensor requires a low number of external components, which combined with its very low power consumption, makes it a perfect solution for IoT applications. Such applications can also benefit from a variety of sensors on the same die, allowing more complex devices to be designed, with no additional costs.

Proximity 10 Click is a versatile proximity detection device on a Click board™. It can detect a foreign object distanced up to 200cm. The Click board™ features a detection sensor IC that can trigger a programmable-event interrupts, which makes this Click board™ capable of detecting even simple gesture movements. The advanced onboard IC sensor features LED driver section, a light sensor with the integrated analog front end (AFE), 16 bit analog to digital converter (ADC), and digital engine for processing and aggregation of the measurement result, which simplifies the firmware development. The ambient light cancellation includes both digital and optical filtering, resulting in increased detection reliability.

Proximity 11 Click is a close-range proximity sensing Click board™, equipped with the RPR-0521RS, a very accurate and power-efficient proximity and ambient Light Sensor with IrLED. It allows an accurate proximity detection for a maximum distance of 100mm. The proprietary LED current driving technique eliminates the need for calibration, simplifying the design. A huge dynamic range allows ambient light sensing response of visible and infrared light, in a variety of light conditions. An extensive interrupt engine allows for a firmware optimization.

Proximity 13 Click based on SI1153-AB09-GMR IC from Silicon Labs that can be used as an proximity, and gesture detector with I2C digital interface and programmable-event interrupt output. The host can send command the Proximity 13 click to initiate on-demand proximity measurements. The host can also place the click board in an autonomous operational state where it performs measurements at set intervals and interrupts the host either after each measurement is completed or whenever the sample is larger/smaller than a set threshold value or exits/enters a set threshold window.

RadioStation click is a unique click board™ that can be used to broadcast the music via the FM radio band. It features the Si4713-B30 from Silicon Labs, the best in class integrated FM broadcast stereo transmitter, which operates in the frequency range of 76MHz to 108MHz. It can also broadcast RDS/RDBS data. The click board™ can be equipped with a small FM antenna, which is used to extend the broadcasting range.
One of the advantages of this versatile FM broadcast stereo transmitter IC is that it needs almost no external components so it is very easy to work with it. A small omnidirectional electret mic, as well as a miniature 700mW neodymium speaker are included on the Click board™, making it a complete playback & recording solution, capable of capturing up to 32 minutes of audio. The Semper Flash Click is a Click board™ which features the S25HS512T, a perfect solution for the mass storage option in various embedded applications. With fast performance being one of its key features, Semper Flash click can also be used for the code shadowing, execute-in-place (XIP), data logging and data storage. The Cypress Semper Flash with Quad SPI family of products are high-speed CMOS, MirrorBit NOR flash devices. Signal Relay click can be used for ON/OFF control in various devices. It carries four ultra-small GV5-1 PCB relays from Omron and runs on a 5V power supply. Signal Relay click communicates with the target MCU over the following mikroBUS pins: AN, RST, CS and PWM. |

There are many battery chargers and solar energy harvesters out there already, but the Solar energy click has the unique feature - it encompasses both of these devices in a single package. The click uses Texas Instruments BQ25570 - a nano-power high-efficiency boost charger and buck converter device, designed to work with very low power energy harvesting elements, such as the photovoltaic and thermoelectric generators.
The Solar energy click recharges the connected LiPo battery or the onboard 220mF supercapacitor, using the photovoltaic element.This is done by utilizing the BQ25570's charging and power harvesting capabilities and clever nano-power management features. This click can also power up low power consumption devices by using the stored energy, providing a way for continuous power operation of low power devices.
These features make the Solar energy click an ideal solution for powering wireless sensor networks, environment monitoring devices, portable and wearable health monitoring devices and similar low power self-sustained devices. |
