Thermostat 3 Click
Thermostat 3 Click

Thermostat 3 Click is a general-purpose thermostat Click board™ designed to be used with any temperature sensor based on the MAX31855 sensor design. The Click board™ is equipped with a 2-pin female socket for thermocouple connection. The K-type thermocouple can be connected directly into the socket, allowing the MAX31855 to take care of the signal-conditioning and output the absolute temperature value. The Click board™ also contains a high-quality relay from Omron, that can be used to open or close an electric circuit. Despite its small size, it can be used with voltage up to 30VDC/220AC and current up to 5A.

Thermostat 3 click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.

Tilt-n-Shake click
Tilt-n-Shake click TILT-n-SHAKE click carries Freescale’s MMA8491Q IC. It's a multifunctional 3-axis digital accelerometer that can also be configured as a 45-degree Tilt sensor. To use it as an accelerometer, keep the EN pin pulled to logic level high. The acceleration data will be outputted to the target MCU through mikroBUS I2C pins (SCL, SDA). The output time is about 700 microseconds, with a 14-bit resolution, ±8 full-scale range and 1 mg/LSB sensitivity. As a Tilt sensor, the click board needs only one output pin — INT (interrupt). Three onboard LEDs will also signal the tilt orientation. TILT-n-SHAKE click is designed to use a 3.3V power supply only.

Ultrasonic 2 Click
Ultrasonic 2 Click

The Ultrasonic 2 click is an ultrasonic range detection Click board™, capable of detecting both near-field and far-field objects. It is equipped with the PGA460, a highly-integrated system-on-chip (SoC), based on SONAR principle. This SoC consists of a low-noise analog front end (AFE) with a programmable time-varying gain stage, a digital signal processor (DSP), and an integrated transducer driver. The PGA460 offers a very accurate and reliable range detection, regardless of the position of an object: the incoming echo signal is conditioned and dynamically amplified over time before it is digitized, so that the optimal signal-to-noise ratio can be achieved.

It comes in the package which also includes the mikroSDK™ software and a library with all the functions. The Click board™ comes as a fully tested and approved prototype, making it a reliable device ready to use on the development board.

UT-S 7-SEG R click
UT-S 7-SEG R click

7-segment LED display is the most commonly used type of display to represent changing numerical values. The principle is very simple - seven LED segments are positioned in a certain shape and by turning specific segments on or off, the shape that resembles a specific number is lit. This method of displaying numbers was first used in the beginning of the 20th century, but after the invention of the LED in '70, it is the most commonly used method to display numbers. It utilizes a fairly simple and cheap design with the numbers clearly visible. Be it a clock on the nightstand, a billboard at the airport, a gauge on some machine, a panel on some instrument or a display on the pump at the gas station - the numbers will be always easy to see and read, even in the dark.

UT-S 7 SEG R click uses two SMD ultra-thin DSM7UA20101 7-SEG LED displays, made with the patented technology that delivers thickness of only 2.1 mm. These displays are driven by the MAX6969, a constant current LED integrated driver from Maxim Integrated, which uses the SPI serial interface for communication and delivers steady and constant power source for the LED segments.
